Here is a summary of our General Terms and Conditions. for bicycle rental and luggage transport:
– You can cancel free of charge (excluding administration fees of €30) at least 7 days before departure.
– Between 7 days and 48 hours before departure, the cancellation fees amount to 30% of the total rental amount (delivery and collection costs included).
– In the case of cancellation, less than 48 hours before departure, there is no refund possible (except in exceptional cases, at the discretion of BicyBAGS).
For the transfer of people:
– More than 30 days before: €30 (invariable fees)
– Between 30 and 7 days before: 30% of the total amount
– Between 7 days and 48 hours before: 50% of the total amount
– Less than 48 hours before: 100% of the amount
Our teams are available 7 days a week to assist you on the road.
– From Monday to Friday, during opening hours (9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.), we can be reached on +33 (0)5 49 76 92 56
– Outside these hours (8 a.m. to 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and on weekends, you can contact us on our emergency number. It will be sent to you upon validation of your reservation.
Yes ! Our teams work 7 days a week from April 15 to September 31. Please note, price supplements may however apply.
One-way bike rental with BicyBAGS
All our bike rentals include: a lock per bike and a repair kit for 2 to 3 bikes. To see our equipment, click here.
The repair kit includes what you need to deal with a puncture:
– A pump,
– A spare inner tube,
– A puncture spray,
– Tire levers
– And patches.
Good practice in the event of a puncture is to immediately change the punctured inner tube and buy one from a bike rental company or cycle store along the way.
The hiking pack includes two 25 L panniers, a handlebar bag and a free bottle!
Bicycle delivery:
– Between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the address of your choice (accessible by vehicle with easy parking).
– Another possible option (to be validated with our teams): delivery of bicycles the day before your departure directly to your accommodation or to our drop-off points (Nantes, La Rochelle, Royan, Biarritz, Niort).
Return of bicycles:
– Between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the address of your choice (accessible by vehicle with easy parking).
– Another possible option (to be validated with our teams): collection of bicycles the day after the end of your rental directly in your accommodation or in our drop-off points (Nantes, La Rochelle, Royan, Biarritz, Niort).
Our luggage racks are standard models allowing the majority of bicycle bags to be adapted. Some brands of compatible bags: Thule, Ortlieb, Vaude, Rockrider…
Our bikes are serviced and tested by our cycle technicians between each customer. We rent quality equipment in perfect working order.
We invite you to notify us of any problem with the rented bike within 2 hours after picking up the bikes. Beyond that, Bicybags cannot be held responsible for a breakdown or malfunction (except electronic problem on an e-bike).
We do not intervene for punctures. A repair kit with everything needed to change an inner tube is provided.
In the event of a major breakdown (broken chain, broken derailleur, etc.), our assistance number can be reached 7 days a week. We will direct you to the nearest repairer and help you get back on track as quickly as possible.
If you subscribe to the theft guarantee as part of the bike rental with BicyBAGS, this allows you in the event of theft to:

The theft guarantee is without excess
The theft guarantee is subject to conditions in order to operate. We advise you to consult them before booking: our General Terms and Conditions on the theft guarantee.
We strongly advise you to bring the bicycles into your accommodation (hotel, guesthouse, gîtes, campsite, etc.) in a secure area. Bicycles must also be secured inside this secure room so that they are safe to spend the night. The vast majority of accommodation in the region is used to receiving bicycles and is equipped to accommodate them.
We provide the battery charger and key. You can recharge your battery:
– By removing the battery and plugging it into a standard outlet in your hotel room for example.
– By leaving the battery on the bike in a secure bike room with a conventional power outlet.
To ensure the battery is fully charged, we advise you to leave it charging for 6 hours, or more or less overnight.
Our e-bikes are equipped with 500W batteries allowing them to cover between 80km and 120km with reasonable use of the battery.
The autonomy depends on the use of the bike (level of assistance), the altitude difference, the weight of the cyclist and the climatic conditions.
Our child trailers can transport 2 children. The total maximum load of the child trailer is 45kg (total). It is possible to use these child trailers as luggage trailers, paying attention to the weight and not damaging the equipment.
It’s not a question of age but a question of weight. For the baby seat, the weight limit is 22kg. It is recommended from 12 months.
– Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children under 12 years old.
– For adults, no obligation but it is still recommended for your safety.
Baggage transfer with BicyBAGS
– Luggage must be available from 9 a.m. in the morning.
– Luggage is delivered to the next accommodation before 6 p.m.
Each of your accommodations must therefore have the capacity to deliver luggage non-stop from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the event of closing times, you must find a solution for picking up or dropping off luggage with your accommodation (digital code, contact person, etc.).
We work with all types of accommodation (except Airbnb): guest rooms, lodges, campsites, hotels, youth hostels… The only thing we ask is to have access from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to pick up and drop off luggage. We recommend Accueil Vélo accommodation that meets this requirement.
Yes. We collect your luggage at bike delivery and return it to you upon collection. The price of this service includes these two elements:
– The security rate is €5/day per bag.
– The transfer price depends on the number of bags and the number of kilometers to be covered.
Yes ! Before the first baggage pick-up we ask you to label your luggage with the name of the reservation at BicyBAGS. We will then apply a BicyBAGS luggage tag with your name for future transportation. Also remember to give the same name when booking your accommodation.
– Each piece of luggage is limited to a maximum of 23 kg
– 1 backpack type hand baggage is tolerated in addition to each “suitcase or main bag”
Transfer of people and bicycles with BicyBAGS
The transfer of people and bicycles at BicyBAGS corresponds to a privatized shuttle. We pick you up at the time and address you want to take you directly to your chosen destination.
With a single vehicle, we can transport 8 bikes and 8 people at the same time. Beyond that, two vehicles are needed. We have 9-seater vehicles and specific trailers to transport bicycles safely.
Yes, the price of a trip depends on the number of kilometers traveled and not the number of people. Our prices are therefore more advantageous for 6 or 8 people than for just one.
